About Miss Dao
Hi, my name is Dao. After teaching mathematics for the past 7 years, and gaining my master’s in education, I’ve been inspired to focus on tutoring students in math. Teaching math requires more than just knowledge; it demands passion. I believe that educators who convey this subject effectively instill confidence and inspire students to overcome challenges. The ability to ignite curiosity and cultivate critical thinking shapes the mathematicians and problem solvers of tomorrow is my passion.
Dao’s math involvement

In 2022, Miss Dao earned certificates for successful completion in Data Science courses ranging from Machine Learning to Linear Regression from Havard Online Courses. This is what she considers fun in her spare time.

In 2017, Miss Dao and her team received The Meritorious Winner award in an international math competition that challenges college students to analyze, model, solve, and present solution reports to an open-ended application problem while weaving in math in disciplines such as education, income and equality.

2013 Overall Winner. Miss Dao and her team of three competed against over 100 separate high school teams in the Clark County area to raise the GDP of their chosen country.

Miss Dao is constantly working on making math accessible to students everywhere. She does this producing math videos in which you can find on YouTube.
